Overview
Over this project, we learned about the chemistry with drugs. How it affects the brain, whether it has a positive or negative effect, and we had to present all information in an interactive way.
What I Contributed to the Project
I had the unfortunate luck to get stuck with a partner that had no work ethic or drive, so I completed the entire project by myself. I was the one asking Ms. Lyman for materials that were forgotten on runs to Hobby Lobby, I was the one who spent 2 hours in the Maker Space teaching myself how to use a jigsaw and a power sander. I painted the board, the artwork included. I did all of the research, I came up with, printed, and laminated the questions to put onto the board, and I'm the one who found an efficient way to attach the questions to the board. I painted the black-out glasses, I soundproofed the headphones, and I found a way to put the marbles into the jacket with out harming it. I don't know what my partner was doing for the 4 weeks we had to complete this project, but I did this project entirely by myself.
I am most proud of...
I am most proud of my project. I am proud that I held it together for the entirety of the time my partner wrote music and sang to herself and wrapped herself into a cocoon of stress that she brought onto herself. I am proud that I didn't lose it, when at the exhibition, when she decided that was the opportune time to start taking action and try to do something.
If I were to do this project again...
If I were to this project again, I would work on my own. I practically did this time around, doing it by myself would have been so much easier.
